Jessica Heer

Senior Vice President, Regional Marketing and Talent Attraction

Jessica Heer is the Senior Vice President of Regional Marketing and Talent Attraction at the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC), which has been recognized as the National Chamber of the Year.  

Heer oversees the marketing, communications, and event teams at the DRC. In her role, Heer is responsible for creating and accelerating the marketing and brand strategy for the DRC and its strategic priorities. 

Heer and her team also lead Say Yes to Dallas, a talent attraction marketing campaign and program to attract talent from around the world to fill in-demand jobs in the Dallas Region. 

During her tenure, Heer has led the launch of several marketing campaigns, including the Take Care of Business COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the Southern Dallas County Economic Development Guide, and the Business Works Better Here corporate recruitment campaign. 

Heer joined the DRC in 2005 as a member of the research team, where she was responsible for producing economic development analysis for DRC members and departments. In 2007, she joined the economic development team, leading corporate recruitment efforts for companies considering a move to the Dallas Region. During her tenure, Heer completed many corporate recruitment projects, including AT&T, Jacobs, Kubota Tractor Corporation, and Toyota Motor North America.  

Prior to joining the DRC, she worked at North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) where she was responsible for economic data research, local governments, and the public. Heer holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Midwestern State University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of North Texas.
