Senior Vice President, Regional Marketing and Talent Attraction
Jessica Heer is the Senior Vice President of Talent Attraction, one of the DRC’s most important efforts of the past several years, marketing the Dallas Region to attract and retain workers from around the world.
In this role, Heer and her team lead Say Yes to Dallas, a national communications and marketing campaign sharing why the Dallas Region is a great place to start or continue a career, to raise a family, and to experience a one of the most vibrant and affordable places in the nation.
Additionally, Heer oversees the DRC’s regional marketing efforts.
Heer joined the DRC in 2005 as a member of the Information and Research department, where she was responsible for producing the Dallas Economic Development Guide, and providing research analysis to DRC members and departments. In 2007, she joined the Economic Development team, leading corporate recruitment efforts for companies considering a move to or expansion in the Dallas Region. During her tenure, Heer completed many economic development projects, including AT&T, Jacobs Engineering Group, Kubota Tractor Corporation, and Toyota Motor North America.
Prior joining the DRC, she worked at the North Central Texas Council of Governments where she was responsible for economic data research efforts, supporting agency departments, local governments, and the general public.
Heer holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Midwestern State University and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A) from the University of North Texas.
