Eric Griffin

Vice President, Research and Innovation

Eric Griffin is Vice President of Research and Innovation at the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC), which has been recognized as the National Chamber of the Year. 

Griffin manages a team responsible for the data needs of DRC members and their partners, as well as companies and professionals contemplating a relocation to the Dallas Region. He is also in charge of creating unique publications that showcase the Dallas Region as a center of innovation. 

Griffin joined the DRC in 2014. He previously served as the Sector/Sustainability Manager at Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas where he was responsible for initiating sector-based workforce development strategies to support key industries in the Dallas Region. Before that, Griffin enjoyed a career in public administration with Dallas and the city of Oakland, Calif., where he specialized in intergovernmental relations, organizational performance improvement, and environmental quality. 

Griffin earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southern Methodist University. He also earned master’s degrees in environmental management and public policy from Duke University. He and his lovely wife are proud parents of three children.
