Kevin Shatley is Vice President of Economic Development at the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC), which has been recognized as National Chamber of the Year.
Shatley leads the DRC’s response to corporate relocation inquiries in the fourth largest market in the country. He coordinates all aspects of a site visit, which includes interviewing employers and site selectors and helping locate real estate options that fit a company’s needs. Shatley has led the recruitment of many companies to DFW, including PGA of North America, Peloton, Ruiz Foods, Evolve Biologics, Wiley X, VistaPrint, Vivid Seats, Vanguard, McLaren Automotive, Fundbox, and Smoothie King.
He also leads the DRC’s marketing trips, which occur domestically and internationally. He is the point person who maintains relationships with local, state, and regional economic development allies. This includes leading efforts with the DFW marketing team, the Dallas Region’s 100-plus community partners.
Shatley previously held economic development positions at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Shatley serves on numerous boards, including the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) and North Central Texas Economic Development District (NCTEDD). In 2021, Shatley was appointed by the Commissioners of the Texas Workforce Commission to serve on the Texas Talent & Economic Growth Advisory Taskforce. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and lives in his hometown of McKinney.
