Prepare for the May Primary Runoff Election
Primary elections were held in March. Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, the race moved to a runoff election in May. The winner of the runoff will become their party’s nominee for the November general election.
If you voted in the March primary, you may only vote in the runoff for the same political party.
If you did not vote in the March primary, you may choose which party’s runoff to participate in—Republican or Democratic—on Election Day. The runoff is approaching, and voting in North Texas looks different by county. Ballots vary, polling locations differ on Election Day and key deadlines arrive quickly.
This page brings together the essentials for informed voters—so you can confirm your registration, preview your personalized ballot, understand your voting options and plan ahead with confidence.
