Dana Jennings
Executive Vice President

Dana Jennings is Executive Vice President at the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC), which has been recognized as National Chamber of the Year. In this role, she reports directly to the President & CEO, provides strategic direction on all communications, marketing, and events, and coordinates the DRC’s Research & Innovation, Economic Development, and Education, Talent & Workforce teams.
Jennings leads the DRC’s brand strategy, working to position the DRC as an influential leader in the Dallas Region and beyond through long-form and digital content, earned and paid media, and rewarding in-person experiences at DRC events. Jennings serves as the DRC’s primary contact for media and manages all messaging for the DRC’s business and legislative priorities.
In close coordination with the President & CEO, Jennings works to ensure strategic alignment across DRC departments and that the organization’s programs and messaging remain mission-driven and impactful.
Before joining the DRC in January 2023, Jennings held several communications roles of increasing responsibility at The University of Texas at Arlington. Her responsibilities included working directly with the university’s leadership to develop a comprehensive campus communications strategy that engaged students, faculty, and staff across all channels with uniform messages regarding news, business, high-priority events, and crisis response situations.
Earlier in her career, Jennings led executive communications for the Texas Tech University System under the leadership of Chancellor Robert L. Duncan. At the System, Jennings created all messaging to support the successful development of the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine, including an academic feasibility report for the Texas Legislature and collateral for a multi-million dollar fundraising effort.
A proud Red Raider, Jennings earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from Texas Tech University. Jennings resides in her hometown, Arlington, Texas, with her husband, Chad.
