Below, Murat Gulver, CEO and Founder of Frisco-based cyber security provider Voice Data Security, describes his company’s work in the Dallas Region.
Briefly tell us about your organization and its work in Dallas Region.
Voice Data Security (VDS) is an advanced technology solutions company headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth. We provide cyber security, cloud, hybrid-IT, and managed cyber security services. Some of our technology vendors include Cisco, Dell/EMC, Microsoft, VMware, McAfee, AWS, Veeam, and Tenable. The VDS team has been providing best practice solutions to the community since the company was established in Dallas. Becoming the trusted partner of the businesses in the Dallas Region is one of our primary goals.
How does your company help other businesses become more effective through digital solutions?
We are a trusted technology advisor for our clients. We prepare custom solutions for our clients after understanding their challenges in detail. The technological needs of businesses change rapidly, and adopting new practices enables our clients to be more effective in their markets. We believe the most important asset an organization possess is its corporate data, and it must be protected and should be made accessible to corporate users from anywhere, anytime. Protecting, structuring, and optimizing usage methods help our customers significantly.
What differentiates your company from others in your industry?
The Voice Data Security team believes that protecting your business should be at the heart of your business strategy. We focus on protecting the business environment first, and then we focus on making corporate resources accessible to users on any device. What do you enjoy most about doing business in Dallas?
Doing business in Dallas is like helping our neighbors. We live in the same community and the VDS team understands that helping local businesses grow also helps our community. The Dallas Region is a great place to live and work because of the quality of people, the constant growth of the region, and its countless opportunities.
Why did you decide to become a DRC member?
The DRC contributes to Dallas in many ways, and we believe in supporting the DRC’s initiatives. Through this work, we will not only get to know more people in the Dallas Region, but we can also help make those initiatives reality. We believe the DRC is one of the gateways to share our passion to become a trusted advisor of the companies operating within the region.
How has your business changed in the past five years?
Five years ago, we were more focused on local infrastructure and protecting everything in a central location. Cloud, cyber security risks, and the struggle to keep up with changes in technology changed the expectations of our clients. Therefore, we now focus on providing a secure operating environment first and start introducing other modern technologies to our customers. Cyber security has become a serious risk even for SMB customers. Cloud made many services available for businesses. However, Cloud technologies have also increased the cyber security risks. All these changes have increased the demand for our expertise significantly, and we are happy that our years of experience are helping businesses operating across the Dallas Region.
