About Serving on the YPAC

• What is YP Advisory Council? The YP Advisory Council (YPAC) supports and advises the Dallas Regional Chamber as we develop programs and events designed to accelerate the growth and leadership of the business community’s Young Professionals. The YP Advisory council is made up of 3 subcommittees: Member Engagement, Programming and LEAD YP.
• Participation Overview: Participation requires commitment to monthly advisory council meetings, ad hoc team meetings for YP focus areas, and regularly scheduled YP events and programming. Applicants must be able to fulfill program attendance requirements to be selected.
• Individual Commitments: Each council member serves a two-year term. Council members must attend monthly council meetings and actively participate in various YP events throughout each year.
• Who Should Apply? The YP Advisory Council is for individuals interested in making an impact on fellow young professionals and passionately serving the North Texas business community. Together, the YP Advisory Council furthers the DRC’s mission to make the Dallas Region the best place in the United States for all people to live, work, and do business.
• Application Process: Applications open online each fall with limited positions available. Applicants must complete the member application and have their employer support documented through an employer participation form.
• Key Requirements:Individuals are required to be a member of DRC YP and have an active membership throughout their term.
