DRC Black History Month Resources

Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by Black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of Black Americans in U.S. history. This month’s celebrations unfold against a unique backdrop, occurring during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the wake of the 2020 protests for racial justice.

In 2020, the Dallas Regional Chamber made a commitment to build a more inclusive community and address systemic racism head-on. We are committed to listen, to learn and, most importantly, to take meaningful action.

Part of that commitment is to better understand and acknowledge the history of racism against Blacks in our country and to share in teachings and celebrations. Below are resources to help you better understand Black history and celebrate the achievements.
