DRC Announces 47th Class of Leadership Dallas

Business, Community Leaders Selected to Participate in 2022 Program

The Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) is pleased to announce the 47th class of Leadership Dallas, the premier leadership development program in the Dallas Region. The Leadership Dallas Class of 2022 includes 55 talented new members from a diverse group of companies and organizations.

Founded in 1975, Leadership Dallas is an opportunity for acknowledged and aspiring leaders to grow in their professional development and demonstrate a commitment to serving the community.  The intense, nine-month curriculum prepares and positions class members to understand and address the challenges and opportunities facing the Dallas Region.  Working and learning together through lectures, discussion groups, class projects, and other activities, participants will be challenged to apply their individual talents to projects for the betterment of the region.

“The unique challenges we face today require agile leaders committed to doing the work necessary to help create a better quality of life for all people in the Dallas Region,” said Dale Petroskey, President and CEO of the Dallas Regional Chamber. “We at the DRC are honored to welcome the 2022 Leadership Dallas class, and we look forward to working closely with each class member to help make the Dallas Region the best place in the United States for all people to live, work, and do business.”

“Leadership Dallas participants will learn and experience the Dallas Region’s history, build context for the critical issues facing the region, and explore solutions that will build a better and more equitable community,” said Sarah Carabias-Rush, Senior Vice President of Economic Development and Leadership Programs. “We expect each Leadership Dallas class member to graduate with the tools and experience needed to effectively lead in the new era of work – with empathy, inclusion, and agility – and find their passion to create meaningful positive change in Dallas.”

Leadership Dallas Alumni includes more than 2,300 alumni who continue to impact the region. Many alumni have achieved the top executive role at their current organizations, founded their own businesses, or gone on to a career in public service. Leadership Dallas Alumni include former police chiefs, former U.S. Ambassadors, and elected officials at the city, state, and national levels.

“A once in a lifetime, truly life-changing experience awaits the newest Leadership Dallas class. The Leadership Dallas Alumni Council is excited to welcome this exceptional group of leaders,” said Krissy Barker, LDA Council Chair. “We look forward to all of the good work this class will do this year and long into the future.”
