The Dallas startup community has, without a doubt, boomed over the past several years. Local entrepreneurial support organizations and co-working spaces are expanding and popping up all over the metroplex. Numerous national startup programs, activities, and events have also made a home in our region. A general sense of community has taken shape, and it’s time to celebrate and shine a spotlight on the Dallas entrepreneurial ecosystem!
The first ever Dallas Startup Week will be held in Downtown Dallas March 2-6, 2015. The goal of this exciting event is to connect people from rapidly emerging startup communities across North Texas to each other and the greater Dallas business community. More than 10,000 startup founders, investors, designers, and developers will congregate in Downtown Dallas to engage in over 100 activities from morning to night.
Startup Week, created in 2010, is the largest sponsor-funded startup community event in the world. The mission is to encourage entrepreneurs to interact with corporations, local businesses, and the community at large. Dallas was one of six communities selected by Up Global to host a Startup Week, and the Dallas event is on track to become the largest inaugural Startup Week in history.
The week-long event highlights the following track topics:
Each track will include 8-10 topic sessions held throughout the week at downtown venues. Along with track sessions, there will be community events, keynote speaker sessions, and a wrap party.
The agenda is set and registration is filling up for this week long event of startup activity! Please visit: http://dallas.startupweek.co/ to create your free profile and register for your free all-access pass to sign up for sessions.
