Managing Director, Economic Development
Margaret Selid is a Managing Director of Economic Development at the Dallas Regional Chamber. In this role, she manages responses to requests for information and active project proposals and plans in-bound visits and associated activities. She oversees corporate recruitment and regional marketing efforts to engage with economic development target companies and location consultants. Additionally, Margaret manages the DFW Marketing Team, the association of economic development professionals representing DFW Region cities.
Prior to joining the DRC in 2015, Margaret worked for MidFirst Bank supporting the Treasury Management Department. She also spent two years with JobsOhio and the Ohio Department of Development as a project coordinator supporting economic development efforts for the State of Ohio.
Margaret earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Ohio State University.
