Dallas office lead Adam Gersting tells us about West Monroe Partners, an award-winning national consulting firm with an uncommon blend of business consulting savvy and deep technology expertise. The firm, which has a rapidly growing presence in Dallas, recently relocated to One Arts Plaza in the Dallas Arts District. The Dallas office works with local companies across all industries, with a particular focus on energy and utilities, financial services, consumer and industrial products, and health care and life sciences.
How does West Monroe Partners help other businesses become more effective?
West Monroe Partners helps companies tackle major business challenges by developing solutions in several business areas. We enable growth and strategy through merger and acquisition diligence, and pre- and post-close integration services, we improve people and processes to boost productivity and realize operations excellence, and we create experiences that engage customers, employees, and business partners. With our focus on these business areas, we blend our technology expertise by helping organizations use their data to do better, develop leading applications, establish effective cloud infrastructures, and do all this more securely.

We have high-caliber consultants focused on creating valuable solutions. That value focus is a primary point of distinction; we work with our clients to create additional value using our deep business, technology, and industry expertise.

What do you enjoy most about doing business in the Dallas Region?
I enjoy the great diversity of people and industries here, as well as many civic and charitable aspects of our community. I also find it particularly exciting to be part of such a dynamic business marketplace and to have this opportunity to contribute to its growth and prosperity.
Why did you decide to become a DRC member?
Participating in the Dallas Regional Chamber is a way for West Monroe Partners to contribute to local economic development and policy, and to the growth of the Dallas community at large. We also see this relationship as a good fit with our corporate mission, which is to develop the next generation of leaders within our firm, at client companies, and in the community.
How has your business changed in the past five years?
From a West Monroe Partners perspective, we didn’t have a formal presence in Dallas five years ago. Today, we have more than 75 people across multiple disciplines, living and working here, and serving as the face for our brand and reputation every day.
Dallas is a priority growth market for West Monroe Partners due to Dallas’ strong growth potential. We have plans to triple our local workforce in the next five years. In addition to investing to build local leadership and capabilities to serve business demand here, we are also developing a hub of technical competency in Dallas that serves clients both locally and nationally.
From a marketplace perspective, one key area of change has been the intensifying focus on leveraging data to develop insight that informs strategy, customer experience, operations, and other facets of business. Data strategies are at the center of what we are doing in projects of all types, and we are investing heavily in skills, tools, and offerings that help our clients become data-driven organizations.
