DRC Member Spotlight: Iconic IT

Cloud computing is one of the biggest trends in business today. Dallas-based Iconic IT, a managed services IT provider, offers five strategic questions a company should ask before it makes its journey to the cloud.

David Yandry, General Manager Dallas/Fort Worth and Florida Markets

How does your company help businesses become more effective?

For small and medium business solutions (SMBs), Iconic IT operates like “your IT staff that’s not on staff,” providing contract IT management, network maintenance and service, equipment/software procurement, and cyber and physical plant security products that help businesses grow. We show companies how to get enterprise grade IT services at scale, and back that up with 24/7 monitoring and service.

What differentiates your company from others in your industry?

Iconic IT operates with the personal service of a small managed service provider(MSP), but we’re backed by the national service operation that our network of offices can provide. When you work with Iconic IT, you get the benefit of a Microsoft Gold partner that can cover your IT needs around the clock.

What do you enjoy most about doing business in the Dallas Region?

We’ve been in Dallas for many years, and the dynamic, vibrant business community here can’t be beat. It’s a region for big dreamers, and we love being in a position to help companies grow and prosper.

Why did you decide to become a DRC member?

It’s always good for a company like ours to be involved in the issues that matter to our business community. We’re glad to have the opportunity to network and give back to the city that has made our business possible.

How has your business changed in the past five years?

There’s been a tremendous shift to cloud computing. Cloud-based tools have enabled the business world to shift seamlessly to remote/hybrid work and to manage in new, more transparent ways. Productivity is up. Capabilities are up, and tools have taken a gigantic leap forward in their capabilities. We’re excited to be a part of this revolution.
