The Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) today will hold its first-ever virtual annual meeting, presented by Ernest & Young LLP (EY). The event will celebrate five years of progress by the DRC on its just completed five-year strategic plan and the unveiling of its new three-year strategic plan, “Building Tomorrow Together.”
“We are inspired about the work ahead and prepared to build a new path forward in 2021,” said Michelle Vopni, 2021 Board Chair, Dallas Regional Chamber and Dallas Office Managing Partner for EY. “Building on our successes over the past five years, our new three-year strategic plan will guide us in our future work to ensure the Dallas Region recovers quickly from the pandemic and is the best place in the United States for all people to live, work and do business.”
The “Building Tomorrow Together” plan will build on the DRC’s record of success in recent years of bringing more companies and jobs to the region, helping local businesses to prosper, and enhancing the quality of life across the Dallas Region. The DRC will partner with member companies and regional allies to focus on four key priorities:

- Economic Development: recruit companies and talent with a focus on companies that pay a living wage, lift underserved areas of our region, and bring future technologies and innovation to make our region a better place for all to live, work, and do business.
- Education & Workforce: foster collaboration between the business community, educational institutions, and workforce development organizations to meet industry workforce and talent pipeline needs.
- Public Policy: advocate for pro-business, pro-growth policies that ensure the continued prosperity of our region while maintaining a high quality of life for all.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: advocate for diversity and equity in leadership, community investment in underserved areas, and transparent and accountable policing and equitable criminal justice policies.
