Mike Parks , Chairman of the Board, Dallas Regional Chamber Mike Parks joined the Dallas Regional Chamber in March of 1997. From March 1997-March 1999, Mr. Parks also served as Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Data, and as president of Alliance Data from March 1997-October 2006.

Dr. Daniel K. Podolsky, President, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Dr. Daniel K. Podolsky became President of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas on September 1, 2008. He had previously been the Mallinckrodt Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, the Chief of Gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Chief Academic Officer of Partners HealthCare System.

The Dallas Regional Chamber and VQ Partners hosted over 60 international business executives for a breakfast event to promote two-way investment between Vietnam and Texas.

The keynote, Truong Van Doan, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Planning and Investment for the Vietnamese Government, discussed Vietnam’s trade and economic policy, infrastructure needs and investment potential.

As one of the fastest growing economies of the world, Vietnam offers many choices for profitable investments in telecommunications, infrastructure development, real estate investments, tourism, manufacturing, health care, clean technologies and food processing.
