Dr. Daniel K. Podolsky, President, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Dr. Daniel K. Podolsky became President of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas on September 1, 2008. He had previously been the Mallinckrodt Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, the Chief of Gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Chief Academic Officer of Partners HealthCare System.

Mike Parks joined the Dallas Regional Chamber in March of 1997. From March 1997-March 1999, Mr. Parks also served as Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Data, and as president of Alliance Data from March 1997-October 2006. Before joining us, Parks was president of First Data Resources, the credit card processing and billing division of First Data Corporation, where he served from December 1993 to July 1994. Mr. Parks joined First Data Corporation in July of 1976. Over his 18 years of service he gained increasing responsibility for sales, service, operations and profit and loss management. Mr. Parks holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kansas.
