Chamber President and former Ambassador Jim Oberwetter met Chinese Minister of Commerce Chen Deming in Chicago at a signing ceremony for Dallas based Tang Energy.

Tang Energy Group signed an agreement with CATIC International Trade and Economic Development Ltd. for $300 million in financing, marking the first time a Chinese company has invested in U.S. wind farm projects. International Business Council chairman, Frank Roby was a principal in the Dallas delegation attending the event.
