As president of Hunt Realty Investments, Inc., Gene Sanger is responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the company, as well as its interaction and investment relationships with achieved substantial portfolio growth and performance. He has created an effective platform for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and for managing both direct asset investments and operating partnerships.

Prior to joining Hunt Realty Investments, Gene was a senior officer for Sarofim Realty Advisors, the real estate advisory arm of Fayez Sarofim & Company, with approximately $1 billion in real estate assets under management.

Before joining Sarofim, Gene served as President of BEI Real Estate Services, a subsidary of a national, publicly traded bank and thrift consulting firm, where he was involved in all aspects of real estate investment operations and management. The company was responsible for structuring debt and equity real estate workouts for some of the largest financial institutions in the country.
