Making Texas Count: Census 2010
The Census, collected every 10 years by the federal government, is designed to provide an accurate count of the US population, but also forms the basis for political, social and economic decisions. The Census results help determine how more than $400 billion in federal money is spent on things such as infrastructure, schools, emergency services and hospitals.

New Study Shows Chamber of Commerce Members Offer Safer Bet When it Comes to Business Credit Risk
The American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) today announced the publication of a new study detailing the credit scores and payment behavior of ten local chambers of commerce across the United States, comparing their member businesses with other regional, state and national business averages. According to the study, chamber of commerce members possess an average credit score of 629, compared to a 557 average score for businesses at large.

Dallas Regional Chamber Promotes DFW Business Opportunities to Companies in Europe
Through a trip co-organized by the Council of American States in Europe and the U.S. Commercial Service organizations, the chamber traveled to Milan, Paris and Brussels to promote DFW business opportunities to companies located in these areas. Organizations from 17 American states also attended the mission trip.

Suzhou, China Industrial Park Visits Dallas Region
Two of the world's largest industrial parks, counterparts from Texas and China, met during a Chamber-hosted meeting to discuss opportunities for doing business in their respective regions. The Dallas Regional Chamber co-hosted with AllianceTexas, a Chinese delegation from Suzhou Industrial Park. Representatives from both companies shared their history and discussed ways to cooperate.
