Help Jump Start the Region's Economic Recovery

As a member of the local workforce board, the Chamber is invested in workforce initiatives throughout the region, including a new program sponsored by Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas.

The Texas Back-to-Work Initiative encourages employers to jump start our economic recovery by hiring unemployment insurance recipients. The Texas Back-to-Work (TBTW) Initiative targets employers who hire first-time claimants receiving regular state UI benefits as well as individuals who have exhausted all UI benefits. Texas employers who hire and retain eligible individuals for 120 days in full-time employment are eligible to receive a wage subsidy of up to $2,000.
