Study: Consumers 63% More Likely to Do Business With Chamber Members

A national study by The Schapiro Group and Market Street show that consumers are 63% more likely to buy from chamber members.

The study, called The Real Value of Joining a Local Chamber of Commerce, surveyed 2,000 adults nationwide through a scientific, web-based survey. To read the full survey, click here.

Other statistics found include:

  • Consumers are 44% more likely to think favorably about companies who are chamber members
  • 82% of respondents believe that the local chamber of commerce helps create jobs
  • 59% of consumers think being active in the local chamber is an effective business strategy overall
  • Consumers are 44% more likely to eat at a restaurant if it knows it is a chamber member
  • Consumers are 43% more likely to consider buying insurance from chamber members
