Experience Greater Dallas, a leadership development program of the Dallas Regional Chamber, is scheduled for October 2 and 9 this fall and will offer an inside look at critical regional issues affecting the Metroplex.
Experience is a program aimed at business executives new to the Dallas area, newly promoted business executives, Leadership Dallas Alumni, Young Professionals and anyone wanting an update on current developments and issues.
This fall, the program will cover topics such as History of Dallas, DFW 101, Power and Politics in Texas, and Project Development, as well as new issues, including a Regional Perspective that will look at projects on the horizon, such as the opening of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, DART rail expansion and Trinity River Corridor Project.
A crash course in regional issues and leadership skills, Experience Greater Dallas provides the opportunity to:
- Better understand critical regional issues
- Enhance practical leadership skills
- Create networks with others who are motivated to better the region
- Gain behind-the-scenes access to key people and places
- Discover avenues to help shape the region
Participants will take away a broader understanding of the greater Dallas region and its needs, and be challenged to serve and strengthen their community.
Past speakers for the spring series include key area leaders, such as Bill Lively, Bill Brokaw, Ron Ricks, John McCaa, Dr. Kern Wildenthal, and Jack Lowe, among others. The agenda for the series will be available in August
