The Dallas Regional Chamber’s China Task Force and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of Henan Province hosted a business luncheon to discuss ways to invest and to foster future business relationships with the Dallas international business community.
The delegation included by government officials, trade organizations and company executives from the IT and chemistry industries. During the luncheon, Mr. Yongxin Wu, a representative of the CCPIT introduced the delegation and talked about the new opportunities to invest in the thriving province. Duane Dankesreiter, VP of Research, Dallas Regional Chamber also gave a brief overview of the North Texas economic opportunities. In addition, both attendees and the delegation enjoyed networking after this event.
The IBC identified China as a strategic market and seeks to promote trade relations with DFW through its China Task Force and targeted programming. In 2009, the IBC has hosted 11 delegations from Asia and traveled to two investment missions to Xiamen, Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai cities.
