Douglas D. Hawthorne is the president and chief executive officer of Texas Health Resources (THR). At the helm of THR, Hawthorne oversees a network of 12 acute-care hospitals, one continued care hospital, fitness centers, psychiatric/addiction treatment facilities, extended care and long-term care facilities, and a medical research organization.

Ashok Kumar (A.K) Mago, Chairman & CEO, Mago and Associates
A.K Mago is Chairman & CEO of Mago and Associates a Dallas based business and investment consulting company. Through his varied and extensive contributions to Public service, A.K has acquired and developed a broad portfolio of expertise in public policy issues such as commerce, trade, transportation, community relations and education. Ashok migrated from Delhi to Dallas, Texas in June 1974.

Each year the Dallas Regional Chamber Chairman of the Board presents the Chairman’s Award to an outstanding individual who has actively contributed in supporting the Chamber and our community throughout the year. The Chamber would like to congratulate the 2009 Dallas Regional Chamber’s Chairman’s Award recipient, Clint McDonnough.

Clint is the Office Managing Partner for Ernst & Young LLP and in that role serves as the face and voice of E&Y in the Dallas community. Clint serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Dallas Regional Chamber and is beginning his third year of chairing the Talent, Workforce and Education Advisory Council of the chamber. His community involvement includes serving on the boards of the Dallas Education Foundation, the General Campaign Chair for the United Way, the Development Board for the University of Texas at Dallas and was a dedicated supporter of the Tier One legislation last year. Clint is an advocate for the Chamber’s Leadership Dallas and Young Professionals programs and is always available for the Chamber. Clint is making a huge difference in the Dallas community and we salute him for his involvement. Thank you Clint and congratulations on being the recipient of the 2009 Dallas Regional Chamber’s Chairman’s Award.
