100 Years of Excellence

The Chamber's 100th Anniversary year has been exceptionally busy and successful. The Chamber welcomed new president, James C. Oberwetter, former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, in February who hit the ground running. Public policy, economic development and education have all been high areas of focus legislatively throughout the year with successful legislation being passed in multiple areas. The Chamber continued to provide quality events for members, including the 9th annual State of Technology Luncheon and Expo featuring Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft; the successful 100th Anniversary Luncheon on June 4th which featured a panel discussion with Tom Falk, president and CEO, Kimberly-Clark Corporation; Richard Fisher, president and CEO of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank and Terdema Ussery, president and CEO, Dallas Mavericks/HDNet, moderated by Lee Cullum, host of KERA’s program CEO; and the 14th Annual Women's Business Conference on November 6th featuring Deborah Norville. The Dallas Regional Chamber's accomplishments over the past 100 years have been immense and we look forward to all the opportunities ahead for the next 100 years.

Join us in celebrating both the end of this great year and the beginning of another successful year at the Chamber's 2010 Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 14th at the Fairmont Hotel from
