LDA Distinguished Alumni Award Celebrates 20 Years

Since the start of the program in 1975, Leadership Dallas has seen many distinguished leaders graduate and continue on to do great things for the region. Each year, the Leadership Dallas Alumni Advisory Councils honors one of these leaders with the Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to a Leadership Dallas alumnus who has made a positive difference in the Greater Dallas area. The nominee will be judged on the merit and quality of the community service of the individual. The award emphasizes the importance of active involvement in the Greater Dallas region and serves to encourage and provide a role model for others.

Nominees for this award must be a graduate of the Leadership Dallas program. The work of the nominee must be consistent with the Leadership Advisory Council’s mission statement: The mission of the Leadership Advisory Council is, through programs and contacts, to provide Leadership Dallas Alumni members with tools to help make Dallas an even better place to work, live, and enjoy life. Posthumous nominations will be accepted.
