Employment Law: What You Need to Know

Employers continue to face an ever-increasing volume and variety of workplace-related lawsuits creating challenges for general counsels and human resource professionals. In today’s changing workforce, it is more important than ever for business to stay up to date on employment law issues and best practices.

For many human resource professionals and corporate attorneys it is essential to find ways to avoid costly litigation and judgments, hire, discipline and terminate legally, develop legally compliant HR, and protect themselves and their organizations from ill-advised employment decisions.

The Dallas Regional Chamber, together with Haynes and Boone, LLP, is proud to host the 22nd Annual Employment Law Update. This seminar will address those issues and instruct on how to implement employment law best practices in your organization. This interactive and case-study-oriented employment law seminar will offer a comprehensive overview of employment law topics and include an attorney panel Q&A Session.

Presenters include experienced Haynes and Boone attorneys who exclusively practice employment and labor law. These attorneys deal on a daily basis with clients by advising on ways to reduce the risk of employment litigation and defending them when it cannot be avoided.

This year’s Employment Law Update will be held on April 29 at Haynes and Boone, LLP
(2323 Victory Ave., Suite 700) from 8:00 AM – 2 PM. Cost is $100 for Chamber members, $125 for the general public and $75 for repeat attendees or groups of 2 or more.
