Dallas/Fort Worth ranks among the top five U.S. metropolitan areas for business expansions, relocations and employment growth, and is home to twenty-five Fortune 500 companies. These companies and DFW's many international business leaders have made it a strong climate for international trade. In 2008 the value of goods and services exchanged with partners in just under 200 countries around the world reached $57 billion.
