Meet Texas and Oklahoma Legislators at the Chamber’s 2008 Texas Oklahoma Leglislators Reception

Join the Dallas Regional Chamber in hosting Texas and Oklahoma Legislators as well as local elected officials at the 2008 Texas Oklahoma Legislators Reception. Once again, the Dallas Regional Chamber will honor members of the Texas and Oklahoma Legislatures with a reception and other activities, offering you an unprecedented opportunity to to meet and speak with numerous state legislators from both states.

As is tradition, the event will coincide with one of the biggest games in college football, the Red River Rivalry between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma. This year, the weekend is scheduled for October 10-11, 2008 at The Fairmont Hotel Dallas, 1717 N Akard Street, Dallas, TX 75201.

Friday, October 10th, features an evening reception from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Fairmont Hotel. The reception will include performances by the University of Texas and University of Oklahoma cheerleaders as well as a special prize drawing. On Saturday, October 11th, the Chamber will provide shuttle bus service between The Fairmont Hotel and the State Fair of Texas/Cotton Bowl for the 11:00 a.m. kickoff.

Sponsors of this event will join the Dallas Regional Chamber in celebrating the historic rivalry between these two great states and in honoring the Texas and Oklahoma legislators.
