Board Member Profile - Bruce Church

Bruce has over 30 years of success in the Information Technology industry primarily with the IBM Corp. His IBM experience includes positions in Sales, Marketing and Management, including multinational experience.

Bruce's current position is Vice President of ibm.com Sector Sales whose mission encompasses strategy and support for some of IBM’s largest customers with inside sales and web capabilities. Mr. Church’s organization is comprised of individuals in three mega sales centers in Atlanta, Toronto and Dallas as well as smaller locations in Bogota, Columbia and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Additionally, he is the ibm.com Site Executive for the Dallas Sales Center and the Senior Location Executive for all IBM employees in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.

Bruce is known by many as an innovator and a pioneer because of his ability to use breakthrough thinking in response to the marketplace. He has experienced repeated success in building new business operations. Examples include; a new business partner channel, new routes to market through inside sales and web sales, a new Small and Medium Business sales operation, and the development of several key support roles that enable sellers to be more effective. These experiences have provided value to customers by improving the ease of doing business with IBM. They have also provided Bruce and IBM with valuable business insight into our customers changing requirements.

Bruce received his Masters of Business Administration from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla.
