BIOCenter at Southwestern Medical District Briefing at Next BioDFW Meeting

With it's world-class biomedical research, a thriving investment community, a pro-business environment and leading information technology, telecommunications and electronics industries, as well as multiple large health care systems, Dallas should be a major biomedical industry center. However, only a handful of biomedical companies have located in North Texas, and most locally created biomedical technologies have been commercialized elsewhere.

Join us on Sept. 18th at 7:30am for the next BioDFW breakfast meeting as we welcome guest speakers Dr. Dennis Stone, vice president for technology development, and Mr. Michael McCoy, PageSoutherlandPage vice president, will discuss the BioCenter at Southwestern Medical District and what the center will mean for the biomedical and health care industries in North Texas. BioCenter at Southwestern Medical District will be opening in the summer of 2009. It will house a spectrum of biomedical companies that create, manufacture and market new medicines, medical devices and health care technologies.
