Guillermo Perales founded CG Management, LLC in 1997 and opened his first Golden Corral location the same year. In his role as President of CG Management, Mr. Perales channels his passion for leadership into regional restaurant and real estate development and is widely regarded as one of the leading lights of the local Hispanic business community.
In just 10 years, Mr. Perales has guided CG Management through rapid growth by instilling a strong foundation for strategic business development. His expertise in restaurant operations and his development choices quickly vaulted Mr. Perales to become the largest Latino franchisee in the United States. Today, CG Management operates 47 Golden Corral restaurant units and has three new locations under construction, making his company the largest Golden Corral franchisee in the nation.
In 1999, Mr. Perales decided to diversify his company’s brand portfolio and began acquiring Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits franchises. CG Management now owns 67 Popeye’s franchises and has seven locations in development, rendering him the second largest Popeyes franchisee in the country. He also operates 15 Burger King restaurant locations, five Denny’s locations and a Bennigan’s Grill and Tavern at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Mr. Perales graduated with honors from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey as a CPA. He then moved to the United States and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. Mr. Perales resides in Dallas with his wife, Adriana, and their three children.
