Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert to Join Chamber in Inaugurating Its Mexico City Trade & Investment Office

The Dallas Regional Chamber's International Business Council is pleased to announce the opening of its Mexico City Trade & Investment Office hosted by Gardere Wynne Sewell, LLP/ Gardere, Arena y Asociados, S.C.

A delegation of key executives from the Dallas region will travel to Mexico City for the October 9 opening. Approximately 150 attendees from Mexico and the Dallas region are expected.

The Hon. Tom Leppert, Mayor of the City of Dallas will join His Excellency Enrique Hubbard Urrea, Consul General of Mexico in Dallas, and Victor Almeida, Chairman of the International Business Council and CEO of Interceramic Inc to inaugurate the office in Mexico City. Other invited guests include: The Hon. Antonio O. Garza, US Ambassador to Mexico; The Hon. Enrique Peña Nieto, Governor of the State of Mexico; The Hon. Marcelo Luis Ebrard Casaubon, Mayor of the City of Mexico; and The Hon. Gerardo Ruiz Mateos, Secretary of the Economy.

Mexico has been a strategic market for the Chamber since the inception of its international efforts nearly 15 years ago. The Chamber and Thompson & Knight host a Trade & Investment Office in Monterrey, Mexico. Through the support of corporate investors, the Chamber maintains a network of Trade & Investment offices in key global markets to provide local access to information about the Dallas region.
