The half-day State of the Workforce summit explores the number one challenge facing every employer in the region: availability of a qualified workforce. Speakers and panelists will address current economic trends, future regional industry growth and local education and training programs.

The event will be held at the Sheraton Dallas (400 N. Olive, Dallas) on December 3 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. During this time, highlights from the documentary 2 Million Minutes (www.2mminutes.org) will be shown and discussed among panelists. The documentary compares the education systems of the United States, China, and India. We will then have an expert from Spherion discussing current workforce trends.
