Education Leaders Needed

Are you looking for a way to be involved in education but need to set parameters that work for your schedule? Principal Executive Partnership (PEP) may be the program for you!

PEP is an innovative mentoring concept that is evolving into a leadership program for both the business professionals and school principals. The partnership helps build relationships between the business sector and public schools by pairing principals in Dallas ISD with business executives to address current issues affecting schools and businesses today.

What does the partnership entail? The pair meets regularly to exchange information and share leadership skills which promote growth between both parties. Time commitment is based on the needs of the pair. The pair also attends quarterly meetings with the other members of the program to discuss leadership issues, share possible solutions and celebrate accomplishments.

What this program is not: PEP is not about donating money, fixing the playground, or attending school functions. Rather the program is a sharing of ideas and learning opportunities.

We are currently recruiting 14 business partners for area principal. Please join us at our information session to learn more!

The information session will be held on January 21, 2009 from 7:30 – 9:00 AM. Location: Dallas Regional Chamber Conference Center; 650 N. Pearl Street 12th floor of parking garage elevators; Dallas, Texas 75201.

If you are interested in hearing from those involved currently, where the program is headed and have a venue to ask questions about this program, please join us at our information session. Attendance at the information session is not a commitment to the program.
