Chamber’s Young Professionals Group Welcome New Board Members and Names Chair-elect for 2009

The Young Professionals are excited to announce six new board members for the 2009 year and have named Amy Johnson as the Chair-elect. The YP leadership team directs the mission and goals of the program.

Chair-elect, Amy Johnson, is the Membership Director at Brookhaven Country Club. Amy has lived in Dallas since 2006 and has been an active member of the Dallas Regional Chamber since moving here. She began her involvement as a Chamber Ambassador, meeting newcomers to the Chamber and representing the Chamber at various events throughout Dallas, and began attending YP events that same year. In 2007, she became a member of the YP Board. Most recently, she served as co-chair of the 2008 YP Programs Committee.

Young Professionals focus on providing up and coming leaders in the Dallas community with educational and networking opportunities, as well as interaction with regional business leaders and the opportunity to give back to the community.
