2nd CIO Symposium to Feature Jesse Stay, co-author of "I’m On Facebook Now What???"

Providing a networking arena for the region’s community of IT executives has been a top priority for the Technology Business Council (TBC) since its inception years ago, resulting in programs that facilitate peer-to-peer networking and the discussion of cutting-edge industry topics. The 2008 CIO Symposium was developed by the TBC and Capstone, The IT Consulting and Executive Search Company, to bring together CIOs, CTOs, VPs, IT Directors and other IT executives to focus on innovative IT industry trends.

On Wednesday, September 10th, this year’s second CIO Symposium will feature Jesse Stay, co-author of the book "I’m On Facebook Now What???" and renown expert in the arena of social networking. Stay, a former software engineer, will address the audience on his unique perspective of the social landscape and how technology plays a role in allowing customers and businesses to connect. A question and answer session following the presentation will allow guests to address areas of interest such as the differences between social networks, as well as how the IT role is being affected as companies utilize these networks.

The CIO Symposium is an invitation-only program, open to CIOs and IT executives of regional companies. If you are interested in finding out more information on this Symposium or would like to request an invitation, please contact Shannon Clark at sclark@dallaschamber.org or 214-712-1922.

A special thank you to Capstone, The IT Consulting and Executive Search Company, for their sponsorship of this program.
